Green Goddess Face + Body Oil

Whole plants infused into organic cold pressed sunflower seed oil with a touch of oak moss and blue tansy essential oils makes this oil light and gentle enough to use on the face if desired.

Calendula - beautiful yellow flower that embodies the sun with its golden yellow flowers and bright citrusy smell. Calendula is one of the most well known herbs to help with any type of skin irritation, bruising, scrapes, or just keeping skin healthy in general. This little flower is a personal favorite bringing joy to me as it grows abundantly throughout the year, even through the winter where I live. Calendula when applied topically to the skin is energetically cooling and astringent with powerful antioxidant and inflammation modulating properties, it helps to knit skin back together speeding up wound healing.

Yarrow - lace like flowers burst from long stems standing above a cluster of feather like leaves. Yarrow is absolutely stunning to be around. Known mostly for its ability to both staunch bleeding and increase circulation. Sometimes called the “master of the blood” yarrow is cooling yet stimulating to the cardiovascular system. Yarrow may help move stuck energy and emotions from the body while helping us to ground and feel protected.

Comfrey- a powerful skin healing herb that has been used traditionally for thousands of years. Ruled by the planet Saturn, indicating how it builds structure in the body. It also is related to the water element helping to build tissue, making it a wonderful vulnerary(speeds wound healing) plant. It has also been shown to help with muscle tension especially in the back.

Oak moss - this has become a new favorite for me, smelling like our oak woodland after a nourishing rain. The smell is very earthy and grounding with a touch of the woods. The absolute has many wonderful properties including powerful antioxidants and anti microbial benefits that may help to heal the skin. It can be beneficial for respiratory discomfort helping to easy congestion and calm the mind.
