Damiana has traditionally been used to help ease tension, and as an aphrodisiac in some cultures. Working on the nervous and reproductive systems specifically damiana may help move stagnant energy harmonizing from within. Also known topically to help with inflammation, moisturizing, boosting antioxidants, toning, and specifically protecting the skin against UVB-irradiated skin cells.
Butterfly pea flower has been known for its antioxidant, inflammation reduction, promotion of collagen, and hydration in the skin. Also may help stimulate stronger hair growth when applied to the scalp.
